Parental digital protection with the Guardian app
The System uses the FamilyZone Guardian app to protect the child's device. The parent can see the status on the web interface, start a break, turn off or turn on the protection. There is currently no separate Guardian app on iOS, the parental web interface can be used there, the Guardian control of child devices is not yet available.

Guardian app available
We use the FamilyZone Guardian app on Android and Windows. After installation, it can be paired with a pairing code and then managed from the parental interface: protection on/off, pause 15/30/60 minutes, status and diagnostics.
iOS: There is no Guardian app yet
There is currently no separate FamilyZone Guardian app for iPhone and iPad devices. The parent web interface can also be used from iOS, but child device control similar to Android is not yet available.

Prevent your child from turning off the VPN?
As a webapp, you can't force it. On Android, Always on VPN and the “block connections without VPN” setting will help. FamilyZone notifies you if VPN protection does not appear to be active.
Can FamilyZone see your child's notifications?
Yes, if the appropriate addon is activated. You can see which application sent the notification, when and what it contained
Does it work on iPhone too?
Yes, it can be used with a VPN client. Weaker protection.
What happens if I pay during the trial period?
The regular subscription is activated and you do not have to wait for the end of the trial period.
Can it be installed as an app?
Yes. It can be installed from Chrome on Android, with the "Add to Home Screen" option on Safari on iPhone.
What does the unlock request know?
The child can request temporary access to a domain, and the parent can grant it for 15/30/60 minutes. The system automatically expires the license.
